Fountain Hills Schools

Fountain Hills has its own school district, The Fountain Hills Unified School District, which encompasses Pre-Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school institutions. The schools are continuously ranked as some of the very best in Arizona, with very high ratings from parents and teachers alike. 

There is only one charter school to choose from, The Fountain Hills Charter School, which extends only through the 8th grade. However if you have small children that are in the Pre-kindergarten age, there are many private schools to choose from as well. 

Recreation in Fountain Hills

With such close proximity to Scottsdale, Fountain Hills’ residents have quick access to everything a metropolitan city can offer, but the city itself also has plenty to do. There is plenty of dining and shopping throughout the town, and most of it takes advantage of the gorgeous views. 

One of it’s biggest attractions is it’s namesake, The Fountain, which upon its construction in 1970 was the world’s tallest fountain. Today it is the fourth tallest fountain in the world. Fountain hills is also home to many public events, such as carnivals and art fairs that  attract visitors from all over the Phoenix area. It is also home to an award winning performing arts venue, The Fountain Hills Theatre, which puts on productions year round. 

Like many other cities in Arizona, golf is another major part of recreation in Fountain Hills. You will find many private and public golf courses throughout, such as the Eagle Mountain Golf Club.
